PRE-VISUALIZATION

There were three main sets for Fable of Fey: the tavern, the forest, and the tent interior.

The tavern was shot inside of a basement and the tent was set up on a sounstage.

STATUE SCULPTURE

One of the hero items in the film is a small, fairy sculpture that the characters discover on their quest. To the left is the original concept drawing I did. While I was working on it, there was a change in the script that required one of her arms to be reaching out and holding something. This change was made in the final project.

Due to budget and time restraints, we decided to use a mannequin as the base of the statue. I cut it apart and repositioned it using spray foam. Glue coated fabric was used to create a dress, and I hand sculpted the details using different types of air dry clay.
